Annihilator– An Outterlander who is highly trained in the arts of battle and sent into the Inner Realms eliminate the people that live there, to the very last person.
Apprentice– Anyone who has taken up the study of magic and higher knowledge as taught by Zemi Dreigiau. Also known as “Dragon Apprentices”.
Arfogaeth– Legendary armor created from the Will of the Spirit of the warrior who wears it. Is stored in a pure white stone which can be fitted into an amulet around one’s neck.
Arweinydd– Literal translation is “Guide” or “Teacher”. Often used in refrence as a name for the “race” of “beings” that make up the Trine. Zemi is an Arweinydd.
AsaHi– A young, magicless girl who is the Promised of SoYa.
Athrylith– A magic user who has mastered the arts of mind magics. Usually thought to be highly dangerous.
Aur– The “Creature from the Time Before”, originally resided within the heart of the Spiral in the form of a Golden Lion. Was taken by Zemi as a Servant and given an Earthian-man form.
Awakening– A spiritual bonding of Earthian with Arweinydd. The most noticeable trait of one who has passed through Awakening is that they grow a pair of wings.

Bane– The destruction that non-Nefolians believe will be cast on the people of the Inner Realms for meddling with unnatural powers and forces — ie. learning how to use magic. (See Lucci and LuShi)
Bhinod– The name of ZenToYa’s weapon — a strange combination of scythe, chain and short spear.
Bonding– The term used for Marriage.
Brunswik– Large, red Dragon, servant to Zemi. Islay’s brother.

Ceiswyr– The secret floating city in which the winged people, Cyngan, lived. Also known as the “Realms of Euphoria” or the “Islands”.
Chaos– A dark force that dwells within the folds of the Universe that seeks to undo all powers that might be used for Creation. Is countered by Creation.
Creation– A force that dwells within the folds of the Universe that is generally considered to be positive and nurturing. ‘Esgor-ar is a form of tapping into this force. Is countered by Chaos.
Cyngan– The winged people that live in the city of Ceiswyr. Also known as the “Euphorics”.
Cynosure– A secret chamber hidden in the Inner Realms where many riftways come together. It is said to have been created in the Time Before.

Dof-Ystafell – Zemi’s mystical garden room on the Islands.
Dragon’s Cleft– A vast canyon-like crevice in the ground that surrounds all sides of the Inner Realms and separates it from the Outterlands. It was made by Zemi in order to protect the people of the Inner Realms.
Dreigiau– A title that was given to Zemi. The literal translation is “The Dragon”.
Drei’distau– A person with the ability to “soothe” Dragons. In time, they can develop strong emotional connections with the Dragonkin and tend to have very good Dragonriding skills.
Drei’Llafn– Zemi’s Dragon Blade… an ornate and powerful flaming sword that can transform into a long-hafted bladed-lance.
DuLlafn– A long-shafted scythe that was once a weapon used by ZenToYa. It now belongs to TsuYa.

Earthian– The name that Arweinydd have given to any people that live upon planets.
‘Esgor-ar– The lost art of Creation that was taken up and rediscovered by Zemi Dreigiau.
Esgyll– Dark winged creatures created by Zeromus in order to wage war upon Ceiswyr.

Hedd-ynad– Literal translation: “Justice of the Peace.” Often used as an exclamation.
Host Gate– A cave in which Apprentices go to speak and meet with Zemi Dreigiau. It was the place where ZenToYa and SaRaYa were raised.

Inner Realms– An area of land that is cut off from the rest of the world by the Dragon’s Cleft. It is where Nefol and Ceiswyr are located.
Infinite Ways– A place that is no place, a time that has no time… where all possible existing dimensions meet and blend together.
Islay– A bronze Dragon, servant to Zemi. Brunswik’s sister.

JouKa– A spunky young Euphoric girl, new to Ceiswyr. She is assigned to “help” TsuYa watch over Suzume.-Top–
KaiShi– Golden Dragon, leader of Zemi’s servants. She is the only Dragon that has the ability to take on a full person-form.
Kaz– One of the Spirits from the Mists that befriends and guides Lucci.
Kaze (Kazemi)– Nickname for Zemi given to him by AsaHi.
KoGuRai– Was once SoYa’s rival for power in Nefol and TsuYa’s greatest adversary. Has become Zerom’s temporary Champion and is granted a semi-Marked form, with wings.
KudakoRe– A Flawed Dragon Servant of Zemi. He trained ZenToYa in the arts of battle from an early age and has become close friends with Zento during their adulthood.

Lei’ Igro– A term used by the Cyngan to describe anyone who had not experienced the Awakening, thus do not have wings.
Llofruddiaeth– Literal translation: “Murder” or “Murderer”.
Lucci(ous)– “Son” of Zerom and foretold to become a Sygnus.
LuShi– The Nefolian spelling of Lucci’s name. Translates to mean “The Bane”.

Marked– Creatures that were created to serve the power of Zerom. They were orginally Earthains.
Morh– A term of respect used for women. Something akin to “Miss” or “Mrs.”.
Myfyriwr– Literal translation is “student” or “apprentice”. Generally used as a term for a student chosen to be taken under the teachings of an Arweinydd.

Neffie– A derogatory term used by outsiders to denote the inhabitants of Nefol — especially the magic users in the School.
Nefol– Hometown of SoYa and TsuYa. Location of the School, originally founded by ZenToYa.

Outterlands– The area of the continent that surrounds the Inner Realms. Is a term that refers to any place that is not located inside the Dragon’s Cleft.

Paladr– A staff that SoYa crafted with his father’s guidance. The stone that hovers within the clasp of the crown is said to be a solidified tear of a star.
Passage– A secret place located in the Dragon’s Cleft where people can cross between the Inner Realms and the Outterlands.
Promised– The term used for two people being Engaged to each other.
Puredigaeth– A ritual of “purification” that ultimately leads to the Marking of the victim when done in the power of Zerom.

Rhawn– A creature much like a horse in structure though with patches of fur and longer mane and tail. These creatures are extremely durable and lithe and make for highly intelligent and loyal steeds.
Rhoi’r– One who is banished from the Arweinydd race.

Sanbon nunchaku – Kudako’s weapon of choice. It can be fitted together to make a long spear or pulled apart to be used as nunchaku.
SaRaYa– Sister to ZenToYa. Aunt to SoYa and TsuYa.
Spire– The centermost structure of Nefol, was once the heart of the School. It’s now being used as Zerom’s main base.
SoYa– Dragon Apprentice and son of ZenToYa. Promised of AsaHi.
Suzume– A young girl who was put to Puredigaeth because of her wings. After the ritual, her hair and wings have turned black. She resides in Ceiswyr under the protection of Zemi.
Sygnus– A child that holds the bloodlines of the Heavens and the Earth… Sygnus is said to command powers to rival even those of the Arweinydd.

Trine– The name given to the three Arweinydd that worked to protect the realms in which the worlds of Euphoria and Runne once existed.
TsuYa– Dragon Apprentice and youngest son of ZenToYa. Brother to SoYa.

Wayrift– A bending of space-time that is often used to tap into the Infinite Ways as a means of travel.
Wyndor – The city of the Dragons, where Zemi’s Servants live.

YuKai– Wife of ZenToYa. Mother of SoYa and TsuYa.

Zazo– An Arweinydd and member of the Trine. Sister to Zeni, Zemi, and Zerom(us).
Zemi Dreigiau– An Arweinydd and eldest member of the Trine. Brother to Zazo, Zeni, and Zerom(us).
Zeni– An Arweinydd and youngest member of the Trine. Sister to Zazo, Zemi, and Zerom(us).
ZenToYa– The first Dragon Apprentice and Champion of Zemi Dreigiau. Brother to SaRaYa. Husband of YuKai and father to SoYa and TsuYa.
Zerom– An Arweinydd that later takes upon the incarnation of Zeromus. Brother to Zazo, Zeni, and Zemi. “Father” of Lucci(ous).
Zeromus– The Chaotic form of Zerom.
